What Does the HSA Do for Our School?
Community Building Events

Strategic Fundraising
Working closely with our ANS families and the Southern Maryland community, we raise funds for:
- New classroom electronics and technology
- Enhanced playground equipment
- Critical school infrastructure improvements
- Educational program enhancements
Teacher & Staff Appreciation
Supporting our dedicated educators through:
- Teacher Appreciation Week Celebrations
- Staff luncheons and recognition events
- Morale-boosting initiatives
Uniform Exchange Program
Our volunteer committee organizes bi-annual uniform exchanges, making Catholic education more affordable for families in Charles County and surrounding areas.

Maggie Murphy, President
Mom to three 4th-generation ANS Eagles (and one future Eagle!), married to fellow ANS alum
Nathan, magazine editor-in-chief by trade, lover of books and sourdough baking
Tiffany Johnson, Vice President
ANS alum, full-time working mom with a passion for animals, the beach and spending time
with friends and family
Tiffany Lybarger, Secretary
Full-time paralegal, lover of reading and baseball, on a family journey to visit all 30 MLB
stadiums, Hobby Lobby enthusiast
Maggie Murgia, Treasurer
Full-time budget & finance professional, huge supporter of St. Joseph’s church activities
and parish council, teacher appreciation leader
Flora Wright, ANS Ambassadors Chair
Part of ANS community since 2019, passionate about fostering a welcoming and engaging
