The ANS Aftercare Program is open to ANS students in grades Pre-K through 8. On scheduled early dismissal days, the program will commence immediately at school dismissal and will continue through the regularly scheduled time. There is no additional charge for this service. This program is operated by a board certified staff and is licensed by the State of Maryland Department of Education – Office of Child Care (MSDE-OCC).

For complete program information, see the Agreement for After-School Services, available through the school office.
The program varies according to age group but each child has a snack time, recess time, and a homework time. Students can bring a change of clothing (some restrictions apply). If your child becomes ill during the program hours, you or your designated emergency contact will be notified and asked to come for the child. (MSDE-OCC regulations prohibit the care of sick children or dispensing of medication without written directions from the child’s physician.) A note to the program director is required if a child is absent three or more days.
